About Us

Hi there! We are Danielle and Brandy (Da+ndy = Dandy!). After working together in an office and using our lunch hours to constantly talk about, show pictures of, and/or research our next crafting project, we decided to make a change and start Dandy Crafting Co. We are both extremely creative and spend most of our free time (much to our family’s annoyance) working on a new craft! Whether it be learning a whole new genre, perfecting a specific technique, or just doing something to keep busy while watching a movie. Anyways, we are crazy excited to share our passion with all of you and we cannot wait to see you in class!

In addition to Dandy being a combination of our names, it also means “An excellent thing of its own kind.” When we found the definition, we knew that was the perfect name for the company! That is what we think of every time we go into a new class or start something new and it gives us the confidence that even if something does not look the way we planned, it’s excellent in its own way! We also hope that this will resonate with you also and that you’ll remember that whatever you make is special!

What kind of projects are offered at Dandy Crafting Co.?

We offer a variety of projects from macrame to mosaics, holiday decorations to custom signs, and much more! If there is a project you have in mind that we do not have posted, just send us an email to info@dandycraftingco.com and we will work with you to create it!

What ages are recommended for the projects?

Many of our projects are a bit too intricate for little hands, so we recommend 12 and up for most of them.
However, we do have some projects geared toward the younger ones and we’d love to have them. They will be marked to find easily.

Can I bring in food and beverages?

We will provide some small snacks and drinks, however if there is something you would like, please feel free to bring it!
Please keep in mind that outside food and beverages are brought at the discretion of the hosting location. If no snacks will be provided, we will let you know.
Alcoholic beverage availability will be determined per class.

Do I need to pre-register for a class?

Yes, you do need to pre-register for classes. This is to ensure that we have enough projects for everyone.
We will have 2-3 additional material packs per class that will be on a first come first serve basis.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class time. We would hate to start the class and have someone come late and try to catch up.

Can I come in and not participate in creating a project?

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are only allowing those who are participating to come to a class.

How do I book a private party?

Please email info@dandycraftingco.com. We will then be in touch with you to plan you an awesome party!

What should I wear and what do we use?

Depending on your class, we will be using a variety of materials that could include paint, hot glue, nails, hammers and more. We will be providing aprons for all to wear during class, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

Cancellations

Our classes and prices are based on our materials and time, which is why we charge a deposit that is specific to your class. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will keep your deposit. If for some outstanding reason, we are forced to cancel a class, your deposit will be refunded.

How long does a class take?

Class times depend on the craft we will be doing. They normally range from 1.5 – 4 hours, but these will be notated when the craft is chosen.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes! Custom pieces can be made and designed specifically for you. Please contact info@dandycraftingco.com to work on a custom design.
